Despite rain and a bus strike, thousands of concerned, caring people attend another ‘Repeal the 8th’ march in Dublin. The same day saw marches in cities right across Europe.

Ireland celebrates It’s same-sex marriage referendum success but continues to retain
the eighth amendment of the Constitution Act 1983.
The UN criticised Ireland’s stance on abortion saying. “The Committee reiterates its previous concern regarding the highly restrictive circumstances under which women can lawfully have an abortion in the State party owing to article 40.3.3 of the Constitution and its strict interpretation by the State party.
