Spotted passing over high spot one of a pair.
Heading for the weir.
Early December 2017.
Showing a possible injury. One of two Otters feeding their way down the river Dodder.
Some relaxation time for a young Otter.
The older injured Otter may be chewing on fishing gear. This would be an ever-present hazard for wildlife on the river and may explain the missing or broken teeth.
Or colliding with a rock or shopping trolley.
The Sea Searcher magnet must be deployed again in a methodical search to recover as much fishing tackle as possible. To any volunteers I suggest valuable antiques may also be recovered.
