Otters on the River Dodder

Early December 2017.

Showing a possible injury. One of two Otters feeding their  way down the river Dodder.

Some relaxation time for a young Otter.

The older injured Otter may be chewing on fishing gear. This would be an ever present hazard for wildlife on the river and may explain the missing or broken teeth.

The Sea Searcher magnet must be deployed again in a methodical search to recover as much fishing tackle as possible. To any volunteers I suggest valuable antiques may also be recovered.
